Dear Malcolm
It was a fine performance both times – my 3d was better behaved than usual on the 2d time & North Africa jazz was only a slight diversion [?] Of course at the A.H.1 the last movement was entirely spoiled by the awful cougher – the management ought to provide garotters to deal with people who cough & won’t have the decency to go out.
The most difficult place – I think is the trumpets in No II – & that was fine on both occasions perhaps even better on the 2d
