Dear Schwiller
Many thanks for your list.
I have decided to put George Stratton leader of the seconds, that will mean moving one of your seconds over to firsts, so I have put Batty among the first.  Also I have to cut out one of your violas in favour of a lady professional so I have cut out Denman as I see you have not spoken to him.
I am keeping Wilkinson for old times sake but I hope he will not be suffering from ‘sunstroke’
I enclose your engagement with many thanks for all the trouble you have taken.
Yours sincerely
R. Vaughan Williams
