Bantock Society

We, the undersigned, desire to establish a Trust Fund for the promotion of further interest in the works of Granville Bantock.
One of the first objects will be to make gramophone recordings of a representative selection of his vocal, choral, instrumental and orchestral works in order to render them more readily accessible to the general public.
With this end in view it is necessary that the fund should be as large as possible and substantial donations are needed to cover the initial cost of launching the scheme. Particulars of the contents of a first volume of gramophone records, together with a reduced price to subscribers and further information will be circulated to all who respond to this appeal.
Donations should be sent to the Hon. Organizer, Dr. Christopher Edmunds, Principal: Birmingham School of Music, Paradise Street, Birmingham.
Mr. Jean Sibelius has honoured us by accepting the presidency of the society.
