Quoted in a history of the Reading Choral Society (1975) which quotes an article in the Reading Eagle newspaper headed ‘English Composer Lauds Local Chorus’. Their performance of Dona Nobis Pacem was on April 30 1941, according to a notice in the same newspaper the previous day.
