RVW resources for Music Teachers
A new programme produced by the Music Teachers’ Association, has been set up to provide resources for teaching about the work of Ralph Vaughan Williams, from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 5.
Each resource has been produced by a different practitioner and tailored to the relevant age group, so while they have a shared aim in using the music of Vaughan Williams as a starting point, they are quite different in format. Importantly, it has been borne in mind that lessons for the early key stages may be delivered by a non-music specialist.
Teaching resources are available completely free of charge to all schools and organisations running education projects and can be downloaded from the MTA. #RVW150
The programme was initiated and supported by the Vaughan Williams Charitable Trust.
