I am a fearful nuisance – but there are Phil: rehearsals¹ on Dec 1 & 2 at 2.0 p.m. & as B Cameron² is I believe doing ‘Job’ I ought to be there – but I will write to him & see if he will do it on Tuesday not on Wed:
As regard the Mus. Ass. I will do my best to be present.³
Thank you very much for your screed about Glock⁴ – one thing surprizes me – you say that he sat for the Mus.B. May 1931 (i.e. last May) & that he failed because his free composition was not approved of though his stodge was good – In that case I must have examined him – & I cannot imagine myself turning down a candidate who had passed in stodge because I did not like his original work – so I can’t understand.
