Dear Atkins
You did not tell me that you wanted me to conduct my Symphony or even that you were going to do it.¹ You only asked me how long it played. I have to be in London first thing on Sep 10^th but I suppose I could get back from Worcester on the evening of the 9^th?
September 2^nd would suit me best for the London rehearsal if not inconvenient to you.
Thank you very much for sending me your programme. I am glad you liked the two part songs. I have never heard them.²
