I will keep the song till I see you – which I hope will be soon. As regards publishers – I had that Welsh firm in my mind or the OUP.¹ As no one else is publishing songs nowadays – so I don’t know quite what to advise. Also I fear it is too late to send in for the internat: this year – Betty² sent in some time ago & was promptly turned down – I’m being a horrible wet blanket in this letter – There remains the Patrons – & here too I am a wet blanket – because no original work ever seems to get a look in there. But you might try the Suite.³ W^d you like to try Bournemouth for “Hen Walia”- if so I wd give you an introduction to old Dan.⁴ Come and see me soon
