Letter from Alan Bush to Ralph Vaughan Williams
Letter No.: VWL3778
6th December 1956.
Dear Dr. Vaughan Williams,
Alan Bush asked me to reply to your letter about ‘Wat Tyler’, as he is rehearsing all day today. The BBC say that all the printed admission tickets for the performance on Sunday have now been distributed, but they will be very pleased to admit you and Mrs. Vaughan Williams without tickets. (This is at the Camden Theatre at 5.5. p.m.).
There is no rehearsal on Sunday, but there two1 on Saturday at the Camden Theatre – at 10.30 a.m. and at 2.30 p.m. Mr. Bush would be greatly pleased if you could attend either of them.
Yours sincerely,
1. sic.
