I forgot to ask if you know where this exhibition of Chinzes is – I do so badly want to see it if I can  – probably on the morning of the 8th while R. is ripienoing with the boys.¹

1. i.e. the morning after the try-through of the Eighth Symphony while VW was working with boys who were to sing the Ripieno Chorus in the St. Matthew Passion. UVW visited The Cotton Board’s Colour Design and Style Centre, for their exhibition of English Chintz (“Two Centuries of Changing Taste”) assembled by the V&A Museum. “Closing date extended to February 11”.
