Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Gerald and Joy Finzi

Letter No.: VWL2489

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

October 14th 1952.

Dear Gerald and Joyce,

I have eaten your pears for three days without stopping now, they are delicious.
I have looked at your Magnificat1 between the letters, and I like the look of it very much, but I shall go through it throughly2 when this tyranny is overpast.3
It was wonderful of you to come to both concerts.4
Love from

Uncle Ralph
