Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Joanna Hadley
Letter No.: VWL218
13 Cheyne Walk,
S.W.
[3rd June 1907]
Dear Mrs Hadley
You will have thought me fearfully rude not to have answered you before – but I daresay you guessed that I was away for Easter and our servants did not forward what they thought to be parcels. I should dearly love to have one of the photographs of Faithful if I really may.1 May I come up one day and choose one when we are all back from our holidays – I’m afraid that will have to be, now, when you come back from Italy won’t it
Yrs very sincerely
R. Vaughan Williams
