I agree that the oboe concerto would not be suitable for the Albert Hall – would you tell me (quite at your leisure) whether you would consider a suite made out of my “Flemish Farm” film1 as a “new work” under the terms of the act?2  It is, I think, some of the best film music I have written & wd make a good suite.
