Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Cecil Sharp
Letter No.: VWL150
[After April, 1907]
Dear Sharp
Here are your sheets1 – you know the book’s splendid, I believe, if you don’t put too much in and cut out any questions which refer to individuals.
For these notes I have only remarked on what I don’t like – and that in my best nasty style.
Here is U.S.2 contract – all right I think – If they don’t write to me soon I shall threaten to have them back & send them to Boosey.
Yes ask F.L.3 for the 1st lecture

1. Comments on the draft of English folk song: some conclusions (London, 1907). See VWL151 though probably only section C of the comments were actually enclosed with this letter.
2. Reference unclear; presumably an American edition?
3. Unidentified, reading uncertain – F.H.?
