Letter from Adeline Vaughan Williams to Ralph Vaughan Williams
Letter No.: VWL1336
Tuesday [12 July 1938]
Dear one
2 letters – and I felt so happy to have them –
Even if compo doesn’t come the new scenes & the quiet bit will sow the seed.1
All is well with us – a lovely day – Brett spread the hay yesterday – & believes Mr Arthur2 will take it – It is dry now.
No letters of the right kind to send you. But how ashamed I was to have forgotten to put ‘de quoi’ in your case – Hon has bought you a pkt of Bromo – what have you done? Smuse3 paper is so solid.
I send a cheque for pfte
