Mr. Leonard Hancock is in my opinion a very competent and talented conductor.  He undertook the production of my Opera, “Pilgrim’s Progress” at Covent Garden and achieved a splendid result.  He is very hard working and I think attended every rehearsal both of chorus and soloists and often played the pianoforte part himself at those rehearsals.
He is a good pianist and a thoroughly sound musician.
