Letter from Ursula Vaughan Williams to Mrs Turner
Letter No.: VWL2807
From Mrs1 R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.
1. Mrs in manuscript.
March 25th [1954]
Dear Mrs Turner
I return the letter you so kindly sent for us to see – it is unmistakeably1 my husband’s handwriting. I think he was misled by your flattering description of him as the ‘commanding officer!’ It is a happy tie between us, and a pleasant thought that there were some incidents of that terrible time to leave only good memories.
With greetings from us both,
Yours sincerely
Ursula Vaughan Williams
