MRS. R. VAUGHAN WILLIAMS
10 HANOVER TERRACE
LONDON, N.W.1.

[10th December 1957]

Yes – the Graves would be a splendid choice – how nice – we shall both enjoy it.1
Ralph is much better – still on odd pills, but opera going!  Trovatore last night – an odd affair.2  I hope that Eslyn will follow suit – only of course, she is able to lead a more glamourous life than R. who is always involved with ink when he is prone.  Gil3  home from America, all safe – and Genia4 expecting Yania’s triumphal return with his business deals in the bag.
Love from both to both.

U.
