THE LETTERS OF RALPH VAUGHAN WILLIAMS

Thank you for a lovely letter. We have had a wonderful time bathing, basking and siesta-ing – the minimum of sightseeing.¹ It is still summer here, cotton dresses and prolonged sunbathing, & iced drinks. Real October will seem strange.
Ralph has written for the Times about Gerald.² I hope you will see it today or tomorrow.
It will also be lovely to come home.
