THE LETTERS OF RALPH VAUGHAN WILLIAMS

Thank you for lovely long letter.  Poor John¹ – he is in the wars!  We had a lovely concert in Bath, & the west looked radiant.
Now the house is full of Milfords² & Joy,³& we have his concert tonight & off to Innsbruck on Wednesday morning – all very exciting.⁴ Ralph is frightfully well, & everything is fine!
