Dear Martin,
Every time I have been to a Three Choirs Festival before this Ralph has said on the way home – ‘but the only pity was that Martin did not come’. It is lovely that the spell is broken, & you have emerged from your east to come to the west, & I have at last met this promised & legendary figure.
Ralph said you would like to see these – our joint work1, & my latest book2. I do hope you will, for it gives me great pleasure to send them.
Ursula
