Dear Mr Bush
Thank you so much for writing.  I do agree with you about National Music – its a disgrace and it’s been out of print for ages – for I tried to get a copy after I had read it, in 1938 or so.  I will see what the publisher’s contracts says, for I have an idea that if a book has been out of print for a certain time one can buy the copyright back.  I have to go & see Mr Brown at the OUP and I will talk to him about it.  I can see no reason why it should not be reprinted by someoone more enterprising if they refuse, and Penguin is such a good idea.  They – Penguin – are publishing a collection of folk songs, previously only printed in the EFDS Journal, next year, & they might be interested in National Music.
Thank you so much for suggesting it.  I will let you know hat happens.
my very sincerest
Ursula Vaughan Williams
