Dear McKie

About the arrangement of the “Old Hundredth”, I think you are right that it is too elaborate.  Besides if the congregation are going to start singing Verse 4 after the choir will sing alone, we shall have to give them a good start.1
I think the Archbishop is liturgically wrong not to have an “Amen” after the Doxology, but of course he must have his way.2
