From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
June 10 [late 1940s?]
Dear Mr Susskind
It is a great distress to me that I cannot hear your concert on the 14th – I promised months ago that I would conduct (!) at Oxford on the 14th – I shall think of you & can only hope that I shall have the pleasure and opportunity some other time.
Yours sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
