Dear Sir

If I had known you were requiring the piano copy of my “Job”1  so soon I would not have asked for it back.  I am afraid I cannot let you have the full score till after the Gloucester Festival.2
I can send you the piano score if you still want it.
I understood from Dr Boult that he wished to conduct the B.B.C performance himself.  Is this so?  Otherwise I should prefer to conduct it myself.
