1.  Veronica Horsley Gotch, 1894-1982, daughter to Rosamund Gotch and aunt of Rosamund Strode, was a professional viola player, often playing at the LHMF.
2.  Rosamund Gotch, who had designed the costumes for many productions at the RCM (including VW’s The Shepherds of the Delectable Mountains, Hugh the Drover and Sir John in Love) had died on 22 January.
