As regards Wed., I think I would like to take the White Gates party up to the op:1 again on Wed: if they want to – so we had better not make any arrangement (except possibly a last minute one).
We gave up the motor expedition to Wales & I go timidly by train this afternoon.2 I shall probably arrive back at Euston at 5.30 A.M. on Friday! If you have any change of plans let me know (till Thursday evening) at

2. VW was going to Dublin to receive an honorary doctorate of music at Trinity College, which was conferred on 28 June.
