Dear Miss Ursell
I take the liberty of writing to you about my great friend and ex-pupil Mrs Glatz (née Helen Hunter).¹ She is a remarkable & brave woman & a very fine musician and for her own safety (as well as her husband’s) well worth helping.
I believe she has already written to you about her husband who is a Hungarian professor in Buda-Pesth. She is now in England with her little boy (having been in Hungary all through the war) – Now she is most anxious to see if she can get her husband to England. I had perhaps better not go into details – but it appears to me most urgent – If there is any way I can help would you let me know?
