Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Susan Lushington
Letter No.: VWL4403
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
[25 March 1930]
My Dear Susan
(I feel rather alarmed at addressing you thus after your rather formal opening – but if I remember right we used to address each other thus)
Thankyou so much – but alas Wednesday is my teaching day in Town so it is impossible for me. Adeline sends you her love and wishes she could come – but I fear such journeys are impossible for her.
Yours very sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
