Dear Waddington1
You may have seen in the Times before this reaches you that our dear friend R.O. Morris died early this morning. A sudden heart attack and he was only ill a few minutes.
I am not writing to many people but I want to tell you personally – I am sure you know in what affection he held you and how much he admired you.
Yrs
R. Vaughan Williams
