13 Cheyne Walk,

Sat. [April 3 1909]
Dear Miss Charrington
Many thanks for your cheque which is quite right – only that it lacks your autograph! – so I am sending it you again for that if you will be so kind.
I am glad our little concert was liked – we certainly did much better than I anticipated and your share in the proceedings both on your instrument1 & otherwise were splendid.
I have almost fixed Monday April 19th (at 2.30) for the Dorking rehearsal at your house – but we shall be very few I am afraid.
I may still call on you to play at both concerts if you are sure it won’t be too much for you
Yrs very sincerely
R. Vaughan Williams
