Dorking.
31st. December 26, 1952.
Dear Roy
I am so sorry I did not explain myself. The concert is the Philharmonic on January 21st., where they are doing the first London performance of S.A.1 I am sorry you cannot come. I wonder if it would be possible for you to come to the rehearsal? Let me know so that I can get you a rehearsal ticket if you can. I think you will be very useful there – but probably you are rehearsing for your play that morning.
The other day, March 14th., is the “St. Matthew” Passion in Dorking Halls.
I think you are quite right about the horns.
Yrs
RVW
Good wishes for the New Year
