Dear Roy,

Vocal score, 10-43 safely arrived. I have not played it through yet but it looks as if even I could play it.¹
 I have answered all your queries, I hope to your satisfaction.
 With regard to the further queries in your letter, as I intend the text to be printed in full at the beginning I do not think we need have the word sources at the end of each movement. As regards the headings of each number, I think it would be enough to put, eg:-
  III. Song
and then at the beginning of the line where the soloist comes in, put
  Mezzo soprano solo.
and where the chorus enters add the word Chorus and S.S.A. opposite the appropriate lines. Do you approve of this?
 I enclose a scheme for the title page. Could you do it out and send it with the opening pages?
 Would you like to send in your bill for the pages already done?
 Are you going to be the Demon King in the Tunbridge Wells Pantomime?
P.S. Would it be a good plan to add a few more indications of the instrumentation?
