Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Ralph Wedgwood

Letter No.: VWL270

[December ?1898]

My Dear Randolph

We are just off to L.H.P.1 for Xmas – so I am dashing off a Xmas letter while waiting for a cab. I could have had Trevy’s2 blood when he said he was going to spend a Sunday with you – to think that I see you so seldom – still our 3 henical3 days make up for a good deal – quality is more important than quantity and those 3 days were finest quality with no alloy in them at all.
Adeline sends her love and wants to hear from you & is going to write to you, but supposes that you will both wait for the other – she has some interesting facts about Charles Davi4  to tell you.
Yrs affectionately

Ralph Vaughan Williams
