Dear Randolph
I am going to get a bicycle; now I want to know how much time you will have at Easter – I heard of someone who bicycled in Normandy and enjoyed it immensely.
Advantages
(i) If you shew your C.T.C.1 badge they treat you like a king (I belong)
(ii) They publish official maps in which the roads are divided into twenty classes, a 6th class road is about equal to an ordinary English high road.
(iii) very jolly towns to poke about it
(iv) Jolly country – all poplars – I know it.
Please write your views soon.
RVW
P.S. I hope Felix is going to join the party.
