Dear Randolph

I should love to come – but alas – about the only day in the year I’ve got to go out in the evening is that very night. It’s supposed to be at 8.15 – but I need not get there till soon after 9.0 – so wd it be worth my while first to come to swallow my dinner with you and Maurice?1  Unless I hear I will be with you for 8.0 at the Isola Bella – I suppose we cdn’t make it 7.45?
Yrs
