Good luck to your show on the 10^th.
I really don’t know what to advise about the symph¹ – the metronome marks are about right I think & as to ‘interpretation’ – well what is there to be said?
As to the N. Rhapsody,² you might like to say that the tunes were collected by me in Norfolk (chiefly from fishermen) in 1904 I think. By the way the programme note at the February concert about that work were pretty fair nonsense.

1. Presumably Montgomery was to conduct a performance of one of VW’s symphonies.
