2. At this time Rosamund Strode was sometimes at home and sometimes not.
3. Note added in UVW’s handwriting. The ‘singeries’ were irregular parties held by the VWs at Hanover Terrace at which madrigals and other music were sung by the assembled company. Both Nacy and Rosamund Strode came to them from time to time.
