Dear Michael and Eslyn,

Thank you so much for your delightful letter.  John and his orchestra¹ were in fine form last night and gave splendid performances.  He looks all the better for his African tour.
We are going to be in Leeds for the opening night² and we will keep October 22nd for you in London.
After September 15th our address will be

I have not seen the reccords³ of my Mass.⁴ The publishers never send me copies, which seems starange⁵.  By the way, I have never heard of any orchestral accompaniment; I feel sure that Curwens would not have made one without asking me first.
