Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to May Harrison
Letter No.: VWL5249
The White Gates,
Dorking
13th November, 1947
Dear May
I am sorry you are having all this worry. I fear there is nothing to be done and we cannot get past “They”.
I should like to hear the whole Holst Double Concerto again, but I fear it will require more rehearsals than we could possibly give it at the Leith Hill Festival, and I should not like to do it badly.
Yrs
R Vaughan Williams
