Dear Martin
According to the reference of Gibbons in the Carnegie volume (Tudor Church Music vol IV) (p.317 etc) there are 3 settings of that tune
(c) Song 9 the first canticle

come kiss me with those lips of thine
VS
Song 34 the Song of Angels
and Song 44 Veni Creator

(34) Thus Angels sung and thus sing we
(46) Come Holy Ghost the maker come
I actually preferred Song 9 in 1906.
My love to Joan
