Dear Mr Boosey
These youthful indiscretions were a great shock to me.  I think they were printed in proof by the ‘Vocalist’ company but never published & that you must have taken them over when you took Linden Lea etc.
Of course they belong to you and it is for you to settle whether to issue them of not – but I am not very proud of them.  If you do decide to issue them I must insist that the date of composition must be printed on the copy – I have corrected the proofs and return them – if you decide to go further please let me see a revise.  As regards the copyright of the words I have never made any arrangement with the authors or publishers.  So will leave that to you.
Yours sincerely
R. Vaughan Williams
