Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Katharine Thomson

Letter No.: VWL2946

The White Gates,
Dorking,

9th February, 1949

Dear Mrs. Thomson,

I should like to come down to both rehearsals,1 March 16th and 17th if possible.  Also I think it would be a good thing if I could manage the time to come to one of your earlier rehearsals; one, at all events at which most of your Company will be present.  Perhaps you could give me some dates of these in case I could come.
I am sorry I cannot come to the performance but it clashes, as you know, with our performance in Dorking.
I will give your kind message to Mrs. Wood and I think very likely she would like to come to a rehearsal, if not to a performance.
Ys sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams

Mrs. Thomson,
