Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to John Warrack (OUP)

Letter No.: VWL2798

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

March 2nd 1954.

Dear Mr. Warrack,

I enclose herewith corrected proofs of This Day.1  Please let Mr. Douglas and myself have a revise. I also enclose Mr. Morris’s copy of the Te Deum, which I think is very good. I enclose his list of queries with answers. I think his name ought to appear on the title page in some way such as I have suggested on his manuscript.2
Yours sincerely,

R. Vaughan Williams

1. This Day (Hodie) (Catalogue of Works 1954/3).
2. Alan Frank had asked Christopher Morris to make a fair copy and sort out the keyboard part of  the Te Deum and Benedictus (Catalogue of Works 1954/1). He had done this and Frank sent the copy to VW with a list of queries.
