Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to John Warrack (OUP)
Letter No.: VWL2858
From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.
August 1st 1954.
Dear Warrack,
I sent on to you all the proofs which Martin Shaw sent to me. The Rake is gone where he deserves!1
I am getting rather anxious about the complete copies of This Day.2 Perhaps the solo singers have already had advance copies? Otherwise they will have very little time to study the work.
Yours sincerely,
R. Vaughan Williams
