Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to John Barbirolli

Letter No.: VWL3254

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

December 28th 1955.

My dear John,

Boosey and Hawkes tell me that you have the score of my Wenlock Edge.  I want very much to go through it and see if it does not want improving before you do it.  Would you be so good as to ask your secretary to send it to me?  I have time on my hands now: but later on they may be filled with other work.  Could your secretary also tell me the date of the concert?
Love to Evelyn
