Dear Schwiller

We hope after all to be able to have some sort of Festival1 after all – the dates provisionally are March 9th or March 16th (both Saturday and both afternoon concerts). I cannot say definitely yet so you must not keep the dates – but will you pencil them? Also there is the question of funds – we hope for a grant – but if that fails to materialize we shall have to restrict expenditure – Do you think that, in that case, the orchestra would be willing to come for a “war-time” fee? – rather than not come at all?
Yrs
