Dear Herbert

I was so flummoxed by what you said on Wednesday that I could not pull my wits together – I had been thinking about this appointment and I had some other people in my mind who I think might be suitable & I must weigh the whole thing up in my mind – I shd like to see you and talk it over
Frankly I can’t make up my mind whether this job is your cup of tea or not & I shd like to think over it.
Yrs
