I am honoured that you will put my symphony into your programme without seeing it!1
As regards conducting it – Of course I shall be pleased & proud if you did it – on the other hand if it wd take a burden off your shoulders I will willingly do it myself & though no conductor I think I have sufficient experience not to let you down2
