I venture to write to you about Daniel Jones (late Mendelssohn Scholar).
I heard he was in a bad way & had no work. So I wrote to him asking for his credentials. He sent me among other things a very excellent testimonial from you.
He seems a most gifted young man all round.
Do you think we can do anything for him?
He is, so I believe, at his last gasp financially.
